    Payment and Cancellation Policy

    Cancellations and Refunds: Should you need to cancel or reschedule your lesson, please do so before 48 hours of your lesson time for a full refund. If you cancel or try to reschedule less than 48 hours of your lesson time, no refunds will be given and you will lose your lesson time. Lessons start promptly. If you do not arrive for your lesson, are late, or leave the lesson early, no refunds will be given for missed time.

    Weather: If your instructor needs to cancel your lesson due to weather, we can reschedule your lesson for another day.

    We require you to sign a release form and proof of medical insurance when you come for your lesson.

    If we need to cancel due to weather, we will try to call you the night before if are confident about the evening forecast. If the forecast is uncertain, we may wait until the morning of to make the decision. Please keep your cell phone on in the morning.

    From time to time we may need to move the location or the time of the lesson due to wind conditions. When we move the lesson location, we try to keep it within 20 minutes by car from the original location and typically no further from Boston. If we need to move the lesson to a beach further than 20 miles from the original location, for instance from a Boston area beach to a Cape area beach, you have the option of rescheduling or getting a refund if the new location is inconvienent for you.

    When we move a lesson time, we ask for your flexibility and ask that you accomodate a change by one hour either earlier or later. We make these changes because of latest forecast information and only do so when necessary. Should we need to move a lesson time by more than one hour, you have the option of rescheduling or getting a refund if the new time is inconvenient for you.
